ID3 Look Ahead
Anticipate Near Future Rig Operations, Activate Rig Logistics and Maintenance Through Dedicated Features
ID3 Look Ahead is embedded into the Reporting Module. This feature covers several objectives:
- Digitalize and integrate the initial well planning before the spud
- Get a close monitoring of activities progress and remaining time to End of Well
- Ease the filling of Timelog activities by dragging lookahead activities
- Monitor the planned versus actual duration activity by activity
- Support the use of operator or rig contractor resources (lessons learned, procedures, reports,…)
- Provide an up-to-date planning of equipment and services required for near future operations for better maintenance and logistics anticipation.
ID3 Lookahead starts by the uploading of the initial well planning, with all necessary information (activities, duration depth, cost, etc). Then, every day, the personnel on the rig consume these planned activities by dragging them in the Timelog, specifying the actual duration, depth, costs. At the same time, they review the next coming activities, with the possibility to add/cancel some operations according to the drilling conditions. As such, the system records every day a new Forecast of the remaining activities for the well construction.
